The Company is established in Taichung, Taiwan. JTS Professional was previously known as Taky Electronics, Ltd.
Our first microphone capsule, the model D-06 was developed in 1982.
The Company launches the legendary model UDM-606 microphone and has sold millions since its introduction.
1986
The Company is reorganized.
1989
The UDM-920, was launched and quickly became a benchmark in the marketplace.
1990
The legendary D-25 microphone series capsules were released and became top selling capsules.
1991
The Company purchased the HQ offices of 600 square meters in thecenter of Taichung City.
1992
The development of the D-88 capsule was completed and enters into production. The D –88 begins to challenge the acoustic performance of the industry standard dynamic microphone, the Shure SM-58.
1994
The JTS China factory is established. The China factory facility production departments include painting, plastic injection molding, cable assembly, metalwork pressing and more.
1996
Taiwan factory received its ISO-9002 certificate.
1997
Development of hands free mobile earphones / microphones begins.
1999
The Worlds 1st. microphone testing station to be mass produced is launched.
2000
Taky Electronics, Ltd. changes the company name to JTS Professional, Ltd. and promotes JTS Professional products worldwide.
Meanwhile, The total number of JTS employees across the Taiwan Strait had reached to 2300+.
The China factory receives an ISO 9002 certificate.
2001
The Top of the Line, the JTS NX Series Instrument / Vocal Microphones is launched and in a short time becomes a benchmark in the microphone industry.
2002
The development of the 1st. JTS UHF wireless system is completed and enters into production.
The 1st. JTS professional monitoring headphone, the JTS HP-535 enters into production and since has become a popular choice for recording studios and broadcasters.
Taiwan factory receives an ISO-9001 certificate.
2003
15,000 sq. meters of land was purchased to build the new JTS Kun Shan factory facility.
JTS develops it’s first back electric condenser capsule.
The JTS UHF PLL wireless systems are launched, creating a new price to performance ratio for the wireless microphone industry.
2004
The JTS Kun Shan factory begins production of products.
2005
TheJS-1 Large Diaphragm Condenser Studio Microphone is launched.
2005
The first employee dormitory building is now occupied at the Kun Shan factory.
2006
The UHF PLL Stereo In Ear Monitor System, the JTS SIEM-101 is launched at the MusikMesse Expo in Frankfurt, Germany.
2006
The 2nd factory building is completed and goes on line at the Kun Shan factory.
2007
Thetotal number of JTS distributors increases to 57 worldwide.
2010
Rewarded as one of the Top 10 National Brands in the Chinese Pro Audio and Lighting Industry.
